This policy explains what information Kagiyama Software (the "Operator") handles in connection with this site and the software it distributes.
1. Visiting this site
- This site does not use cookies or third-party scripts for analytics or advertising.
- This site is delivered using a service of Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). When you visit, Cloudflare processes information such as your IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, and your browser type (User-Agent) in order to deliver the site.
- Download files (7z) are delivered from a server managed by the Operator. When you download a file, the same kind of information is recorded in that server's access log. This log is used to deal with faults and unauthorized access.
2. Connections made by the software
- When you open the "VersionInfo" window, Floatsnip connects to this site to check for a newer version. Cloudflare processes the same kind of information as when you visit the site (IP address, date and time, and a User-Agent that includes the Floatsnip version).
- Floatsnip does not send usage data, captured images or anything else to any server.
- Supporter activation is checked entirely on your own PC. No connection is made.
3. Information received when you send support
Payments are handled by Ko-fi and its payment processor (Stripe). The Operator never receives your card number. Through these services, the Operator receives:
- your Ko-fi display name, your email address and your message (including your ID for supporter activation);
- the amount, date and time, and transaction identifier of your support;
- payment-related information shown in the payment processor's dashboard, which may include your name.
Please see the privacy policy of each service for how they handle your information.
4. Purposes of use
The information received is used only for the following purposes:
- issuing and sending activation codes;
- answering inquiries;
- meeting legal obligations, such as accounting and tax records.
5. Storage and disclosure to third parties
- To reissue activation codes and answer inquiries, the Operator keeps a record of each code issued (ID, date of issue, contact email address and transaction identifier). Names, postal addresses and card information are not included in this record.
- The Operator does not provide your information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
6. Access, correction and deletion
If you would like to access, correct or delete your information, please use the address on the Contact page. The Operator will respond after confirming your identity.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised when necessary. The revised policy applies from the time it is posted on this site.
